Mission and Inspiration

Our Mission

The mission of Waseq Learning Center is to make basic education accessible and provide financial support to the underprivileged in Afghanistan, specially girls and women.

The Center is supported by private donations and not associated with any political or governmental organizations. Donations help us fund facilities, teachers, supplies and aid. If you like to support our mission, please contact us using above link.

Increase in donations enable us to expand capacity, add more subjects and provide more community aid. Unlike large charities, we do not have management overheads and 100% of proceeds go towards covering the four areas mentioned above.

Based out of USA, we are in the process of completing our non-profit paperwork.

Our Managing Founder

Inspired by the generous spirit of her father and the resilient women of Afghanistan Negeena Waciq Waezzadah brought the idea of the learning center to life. She is a firm believer in the power of education and the confidence it gives young girls and women, starting with reading and writing.

Our Inspiration

The founders were inspired by Sayyed Anwar Waseq (Waciq) Waezzadah. A selfless figure who spend his entire life at the service of people in Afghanistan and Afghan diaspora.

Waseq means unwavering, steadfast, firm, and resolute. Anwar was a walking and breathing illustration of the word Waseq because he never allowed the harsh realities of life displace his hope, will and drive to serve. Click the button under the picture to learn more about him.
